Dancing the Dream to Life

When I first arrived in Berlin, I stood in front of the Berlin Wall and took a photo—behind me, a mural with the words Dancing to Freedom. I had no idea where life would take me. All I knew was that I had to follow my feet and trust my intuition.

Dance became my anchor. It helped me survive, awaken, reconnect. It held me through life’s chaos and beauty. As my path unfolded—guided by spiritual longing and a deep desire for freedom—I traveled the world, searching and learning. I met wise teachers and brave companions. One of them was Anna Halprin, whose sacred dance deck in California stirred something wild and determined in me. That encounter planted a seed—one that whispered: Maybe one day… I will build my own dance floor.

For a long time, that dream felt too big, too unrealistic. But now, after years of teaching, creating, and healing alongside others, I feel the ground beneath this vision becoming real.

This project—this dance floor—is not just about building a structure. It’s about creating a space for right relationship: with ourselves, with each other, and with the Earth. In a world that often feels fractured and disconnected, I believe with all my heart that how we relate to one another matters. Dance—with its capacity to soften defenses, awaken empathy, and reawaken vitality—is one of the most powerful facilitators of connection we have.

I imagine this floor nestled in the wild beauty of Corfu, open to the sky, surrounded by olive trees and sea breeze. A place where we come together to move, feel, and create. Where dance, visual art, and movement-based inquiry meet in the fertile in-between—between silence and sound, between grief and joy, between the personal and the collective.

It will be a place for workshops, rituals, embodiment trainings, creative expression, and intimate individual and couple work. A space where the body becomes both the canvas and the guide. Where we can remember that we belong—to ourselves, to each other, and to something larger than all of us.
