Description
“The Road to Los Angeles 2028: On to the Paralympic arena for the third time!”
My name is Makszin Dacian and I am a Paralympic table tennis player and a member of the Romanian National Team. I have been playing this sport for 25 years, during which time I have proudly amassed a total of 42 international medals. I have already proved twice that limits are only there to be overcome, representing Romania at the Paralympic Games in London 2012 and Rio 2016, as well as at three editions of the World Championships.
Now, I once again have the determination, experience and fitness required to secure my place at a third historic edition: Los Angeles 2028.
What is the challenge?
The road to America is measured in points and resources. To qualify, I must compete in at least 15 international competitions over the next few years to accumulate the necessary points in the world rankings.
The cost of a single competition exceeds 1,500 euros (entry fees, adapted transport, training and logistical equipment specific to a wheelchair athlete). As such, the total estimated budget to secure my chance of qualifying is 22,500 euros — a sum I cannot possibly cover on my own. My work takes place day in, day out in the training hall. But we will achieve victory together, as a team!
How you can be part of this achievement:
- 🎯 Donate: Any amount, however small, ensures I can fly to the next qualifying tournament.
- 📢 Share: A simple share spreads my story further and can attract new supporters.
- 💼 Sponsor: If you represent a company, I invite you to become my official partner on the road to LA2028.
I’d like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart who chooses to support me on this journey!
