Women’s beach football in Hungary today faces an uncertain future. Whilst billions flow into professional sport, the girls’ struggles remain invisible to decision-makers and large corporations. The Hungarian Football Federation (MLSZ) offers no support, and companies are only interested in the marketing value – but we believe that sport is not just about the numbers.

For many players, this event represents their only chance to visit the shores of Lake Balaton. Here, the battle is not just for points; a community is built, and experiences are created that last a lifetime. At present, whether the event takes place depends solely on the passion for sport of a few dedicated individuals. We would like to continue this in a sustainable manner and under appropriate conditions.

We will use your support for the following technical and infrastructure improvements:

• Ensuring basic requirements: Providing mineral water for all players during and after matches (this is essential in the intense heat).
• Quality of competitions: Improving the quality of catering and services so that the girls can feel like real athletes.
• Creating opportunities: Reducing (or maintaining) entry fees so that the number of teams can grow and financial circumstances are not a barrier to participation.
• Infrastructure: Improving the surroundings and facilities of pitches to ensure safe and enjoyable play.
