My dear fellow citizens, I humbly ask for your attention and assistance. If you are able to help me, I would be very grateful.

I have a severely deformed spine, which is now affecting my ribs; they are sinking in and beginning to damage my lung. I find it difficult to move my arms, I have difficulty moving about, and I also have a fractured tibia. There is severe deformation of the collarbone and the bones of my right shoulder. I can barely hold cutlery, a cup, a plate and similar items.

I need to be operated on by Dr Fabio Scarpari at a private surgical clinic in Gavardo, in the province of Verona. The operation is very delicate and risky, which is why it is also very expensive. Only a private clinic offers me hope of a full recovery, but the cost of €10,000 is beyond my means and those of my family; this covers the operation itself and physiotherapy until I am fully recovered. That is why I am appealing for help.

And here is the actual deformity of my spine:

Osteoarthritis. Degenerative changes in the apophyseal joints with subsequent displacement of the posterior vertebral walls, specifically retrolisthesis of C3 over C4.

Degenerative changes to the vertebral bodies at C3-C4-C5 and C6.

Reduction in the thickness of the C6-C7 intervertebral space and the posterior aspect of the C5-C6 and C4-C5 intervertebral spaces.

Sagittal and para-axial FSE T1 and FSE T2 sections associated with persistent lower back pain.

Reduction in height below D11 due to sinking of the upper somatic border with wedge-shaped deformity. Results of restriction above D2.

At D7–D8, the right paramedian middle extrusion causes an impression on the anterior dural surface and deformation of the anterior profile of the cord.

At D 12–L 1, the left paramedian-dorsal extrusion migrates cranially by approximately 15 mm, causing deformation of the anterolateral dural profile.

L4-L5 anterolateral disc protrusion with disc bulge and a right intra-annular fissure.
