Hello!

I’m Micol, a visual artist living in France, and I’d like to return to Italy and buy my grandmother’s house.

I have a dream: to live there again, to return to my little village and turn it into a place of art and culture. Through an association (Spazio Piera), my efforts are already moving in that direction; in the summer, together with the association’s team, we organise an art and theatre festival in the little village. These are meaningful initiatives that make me realise just how important it is to bring culture, ideas and opportunities to the village.

In fact, I’d like not only to live there but also to open a workshop space where I can run art courses open to everyone and invite artists in residence to draw inspiration from nature and the special, creative atmosphere that permeates this place.

Being an artist today isn’t easy; I work a lot in education and culture, but the banks won’t give me a mortgage. So, for anyone who wants to help me and thinks this is a good idea, let’s give it a go together! Let’s at least try to make the place we live in better and full of opportunities. Thank you!
