Description
Marcel was born in the summer of 2017 - it was the happiest day of our lives! The boy was born as a healthy child, but currently his development leaves much to be desired... Our son had to undergo several serious procedures - adenotonsillotomy (removing the tonsils - twice) and bilateral paracentesis (puncture of the eardrum). Additionally, the boy has delayed speech development and moderate intellectual disability. Our beloved Marcel has a subarachnoid cyst which is currently 4.3 cm. Observation and MRI every 2 years to see if the cyst is growing, and recently he has been affected by epileptic seizures - fortunately, epilepsy has been ruled out, but this still leaves us with many unknowns... We want to help our child as effectively as possible - we need additional diagnostics, care from doctors of many specialties and classes with a speech therapist. We believe that with your support, everything will be possible!
