Here are some updates from today 19/09 on Lhasagnetta:
-The bone marrow aspirate showed a huge presence of leishmaniasis
-He had a urine test and the results will come tomorrow
-She has had an abdominal ultrasound and in addition to the obvious kidney damage, there's also something wrong with her spleen (for now, the urgency is still to get the kidney values down, if the kidneys don't get better at least a little bit, it's not possible to do anything about the rest)!
-Today she was in the day hospital and had lots of drips
-As soon as she got home, she ate 300g of Renal gruel with joy and gusto (she hadn't eaten with gusto for many days, mainly she'd either yuck everything or taste it and then leave, so at least that's a good thing 🙏)

Good morning,
I am Alba,
I opened this fundraiser because one of my children, Lhasagna, just 7 years old, is very sick.
Although she had perfect tests 10 months ago, she now has dramatic tests.
Very serious renal insufficiency,
anaemia,
Ongoing infection,
Liver problems...
We are doing all the necessary controls (Today she was admitted for PCR, Rx urine and fluid therapy)
Leishmaniasis is suspected... Will do bone marrow sampling.
Expenses are high
117euro on 17/09
Today 19/09 they are 255euros, to which we will add 40euros a day of day hospital (for at least 5 days) and new analyses to see if the kidneys are reacting (about 75euros)
I am not someone who asks for help easily, but Lhasagna deserves this and more.
Lhasagna is a wonderful Cana, I adopted her by 'accident'... Lhasagna was abandoned as a puppy and I took her with me in a stall waiting for a wonderful adoption... But then a love was born between us that I cannot explain in words... And so in the end she stayed with me.
Lhasagna is a special Cana. Over the years, I have often acted as a nurse for dogs and cats abandoned at just a few days old... And she has been, for me and for them, an invaluable help... She treated all those pups as if they were her own, she was always an attentive, caring and strict mother (😅) despite the fact that she never gave birth.
There are several dogs and cats around Italy that are also alive thanks to her.
Lhasagna has had a little sister (not by blood) named Bibi for about 5 years, who we found in the middle of the street severely malnourished and with 7 puppies (now all adopted)... He took her in as only the best sisters can do. He took her under his wing and now they live symbiotically, they can't be without each other... They are a strange and wonderful couple.
If you can help me with the expenses, you will be giving a gift to Lhasa and, by extension, to Bibi who deserves to have a big sister for many more years.
No less, you will be giving a gift to me, who lives to help animals, whatever species they may be. My life is dedicated to them.... And I cannot think of losing the most beautiful part of my heart.
