Dear reader,
Thank you for reading my letter. My partner and I are on disability pensions. My partner has been suffering from severe Crohn’s disease for four years and has also had an accident. Our combined pension is 120,000 forints.We use this to pay for our bills, medicines and disinfectants. Unfortunately, there isn’t really much left for food. If we were to receive the funds, my partner could have surgery for his many internal fistulas, but we simply cannot afford it.I also need spinal fusion surgery, but whilst he is in this condition, I cannot leave him on his own. Our future depends entirely on the goodwill of others.
