Our son Daniel suffers from Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a severe and progressive neuromuscular condition, which means he uses a wheelchair to get around on a daily basis and requires constant assistance.

To ensure that Daniel can safely and regularly attend therapy, rehabilitation, medical check-ups, school and all the activities necessary for his health and quality of life, our family urgently needs a specially adapted vehicle with a wheelchair lift.

Without such a vehicle, every trip out of the house is a major physical strain and a risk – both for Daniel and for us as parents. Unfortunately, we are unable to afford the purchase of such a car ourselves. The cost of the vehicle with the necessary adaptations is approximately €45,000.

That is why we have launched this campaign in the hope that, with the help of kind-hearted people, we will be able to provide Danijela with safe, dignified and humane transport.
