Description
Following an operation on my right eye for a detached retina, there is a step-like indentation beneath the eye at the level of the cheekbone, and this can only be corrected through private surgery. Unfortunately, the hospital does not recognise the damage, which they consider to be purely cosmetic. However, apart from the cosmetic aspect, the eye looks very different from the other one and my vision has not improved either, so I will need to undergo laser surgery.
