Our darling Ingusia was born on 23 June 2022. At the time, the doctors and I saw no problems - everything pointed to the fact that our daughter would be a healthy baby! Unfortunately, two weeks after her birth, her health rapidly deteriorated....

She went through sepsis and severe meningitis, which caused damage to the left hemisphere of her brain. She also faced a grade I/II intraventricular haemorrhage. After all this, doctors diagnosed Inga with microcephaly and spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy. Our life changed 180 degrees... We needed time to come to terms with our daughter's disability, but soon we started the fight for her fitness and happiness! Unfortunately, in January 2023, we experienced another shock - additional complications arose in the form of epilepsy, specifically West Syndrome. This is a very serious, genetic disease with an uncertain prognosis. Unfortunately, the seizures returned again after a year. Inga struggles daily with epilepsy attacks. Constant changes of medication. Visits to specialists. This year another diagnosis was confirmed Lennox-Gastaut syndrome is a severe and rare form of drug-resistant epilepsy.

Little Inga now needs constant rehabilitation and regular consultations with doctors of many specialities. All of this involves enormous costs that we are unable to meet on our own. With your support Inga will have a chance for a happy future!
