Description
Hello everyone, my name is Giuseppe Rapisarda and, if I’m honest, I never wanted to end up here. I love music; I’ve been singing and playing the guitar for about twenty years. On 21 December 2023, I had a terrible accident on my scooter whilst on my way home. From then on, things went from bad to worse in my life; within a few months, I suffered a severe stroke caused by the accident. I can no longer move my left arm and hand, and it’s impossible for me to sing. Music has always been my faith and my way of connecting with the world. After several months of agony and searching, I discovered that there is a private hospital in Rimini where they perform functional neurosurgery ‘using nerve grafts’. I asked for information; the full process involves 1- an initial consultation (at a cost),
2 – possible surgery
3- a 30-day hospital stay and rehabilitation.
All of this comes at a cost that is beyond my means.
Around ten thousand (10,000) euros
