Description

Hello everyone, we are two sisters who have never liked asking for help, but this time it is different, this time it is our only chance to be able to save our beloved Ciro, a special dog with a difficult life behind him. We are asking you to help us with the expenses to give him the opportunity to continue living. He has suffered a lot and has had to fight so hard to be here with us and now we would like to do everything we can to continue to give him the peace of mind he so richly deserves. During a check-up following continuing gastrointestinal complaints, a rather alarming picture emerged, which will require a delicate operation and subsequent treatment. All of this is obviously very expensive, too much for us who have just lost our jobs and can hardly afford the daily expenses for food and the care he needs for a series of other previous pathologies, some of them quite serious, mostly due to years of straying. He is the nicest and most special dog in the world, anyone who has had the good fortune to know him during his years on the streets can confirm this. Unfortunately, there is nothing left for us to do but appeal to your generosity in the hope that we will be given the joy of being able to continue to give love to such a special soul, who has done nothing but fill our lives with love since the day he appeared. Her story cannot end now, not like this. A story of a thousand adventures. For the more curious, let him introduce himself below, thanking you in advance for your good hearts.

Hi everyone, I'm Ciro, the station dog! I am about 9 years old, but I don't remember anything from my early years. The first thing I remember is the railwaymen's van that found me all alone in an old abandoned station. I immediately realised that that van, standing in the middle of nowhere where I had been wandering for who knows how long, would be my lifeline. So I ran, I ran. In the middle of the countryside and then up to the road, I chased it until the boys picked me up and took me away with them to another station. There I lived for some time, becoming the mascot of the village, I even had a name, Ciro della stazione, and a kennel of my own. But I never liked solitude, so I started to wander around the village looking for company, risking being run over several times. I could no longer live like this, everyone loved me but no one would take me away, so much so that by now my fate in the kennels seemed ever closer. But fortunately some time before I had met two sisters who were waiting for the train and besides leaving the marks of my muddy paws on their clean trousers, I made sure to leave my footprints in their hearts too. They took care of me when they found the time, so when my kennel at the station was dismantled because I could no longer stay there, I walked a few kilometres in the sun and went to their house. Some time has passed but I am still here together with my little brother, also rescued from a fate in the kennels, and I would be the happiest dog in the world if I could continue to stay here, in my happy place, for a while longer. I hope to be lucky again and to meet other kind-hearted people who can help me realise my dream. ❤️
