Description

The VízönTő Community was formed by families working together to create an educational space where children can grow up in harmony with nature through the healing effects of activity-based pedagogy.

Our endeavour is to live in accordance with the principles of anthroposophy;

to explore new ways of implementing social, economic and legal forms.

We believe it is important to provide even the youngest children

the most valuable environment possible,

where humans live in harmony with the earth, plants and animals;

where we can experience that our actions have meaning and that we need each other;

where adults set an example through their striving for development and cooperation;

and where we are surrounded by attention.

We already have a garden at our disposal,

which includes a small farm with farm animals.

We have teachers and have developed educational plans based on Waldorf pedagogy.

What is still missing is a house where we can retreat with the children,

which can also be used as a community space and which can also serve as a daily shelter for a small group of garden kindergarteners.

We have designed a hexagonal building, and we have already started laying the foundations. We are doing everything ourselves – fathers, mothers and children –

using natural materials wherever possible, and gathering whatever we can from our surroundings:

for example, wool for insulation and adobe for plastering the walls.

But we still need many things for the construction:

wood, windows, doors and many other things to create a lasting home for our community!

We are asking for help in obtaining all of these things.

Every contribution is welcome, and we are sincerely grateful for everything!

Thank you for contributing to the future of education!

"I slept and dreamt that life was joy.

I woke up and saw that life is a duty.

I acted, and I saw that duty is joy."

Rabindranath Tagore
