My name is Dan Laurentiu Nica. I am 56 years old and suffer from severe heart failure; I have a cardiac defibrillator implanted to prevent sudden death. I also have problems with my thyroid gland, which means I cannot lose weight through diet alone; I am obese, and as I require further heart surgery, it is essential that I lose weight – something that can only be achieved through gastric bypass surgery, this would prolong my life; unfortunately, I am now alone and my financial situation is, sadly, extremely dire, so any small amount of help would be most welcome in these circumstances.
