The mission of the Corda Unitum Foundation is to provide support and medical assistance to Senegal and Sub-Saharan Africa. Our primary goal is to deliver an ambulance to the city of Touba.
The driving force behind the foundation’s actions is a tragic story…
Several years ago, the wife of our friend, Captain, fell ill just one month after giving birth to their daughter. Family members arranged transport to the Serigne Mouhamadou Moustapha Mbacke Health Center in Touba. Unfortunately, they did not make it in time, and the woman passed away. They didn’t call for an ambulance because there wasn’t one at all! Unfortunately, this situation persists to this day – a lack of ambulances, a lack of sirens to signal approaching help, and numerous tragedies…
