I am writing to ask for your help for my neighbour, who is currently facing one of the toughest trials of his life.

This winter, he suffered severe frostbite to his legs. Unfortunately, the doctors were forced to amputate them. In an instant, his life fell apart.

But the hardest part isn’t just the physical loss...

Following this incident, even those closest to him — his family, children and relatives — turned away from him. He is now left alone, without support, bearing a huge emotional and physical burden.

And yet — he has not lost hope.

To get his life back on track, he needs prosthetic legs. They would give him the chance to:

move around independently

regain his dignity and independence

start life anew

This amount is needed to provide high-quality prosthetics and cover the initial phase of rehabilitation.

He will never be able to do this on his own.
