Hi, my name is Erick. I’m 20 years old, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support in something that means the world to me: top surgery.

It’s taken me years of reflection, struggle, and self-discovery to understand and accept who I am. I’ve been on hormone replacement therapy for two years now, and I’m nearly done with my legal transition. But despite all this progress, I still live in a body that doesn’t reflect my true self — and that disconnect affects me every single day. The weight of gender dysphoria is something I carry emotionally, mentally, and physically.

For me, top surgery isn’t just a medical procedure. It’s a lifeline. It’s a chance to finally breathe freely in my own skin, to reduce the intense dysphoria that shadows even the smallest daily moments, and to feel more at ease in a country like Romania, where acceptance and understanding are still far from the norm.

I’ve been working hard and saving everything I can, but the total cost of the surgery, recovery, and related expenses is more than I can afford on my own. That’s why I’m asking — with hope and vulnerability — for your help.

My goal is to raise €5000 to cover these costs. Every single donation, no matter the amount, brings me closer to a life where I can live fully, confidently, and authentically — without fear or constant discomfort.
