Description
Last year, my two children and I were unfortunately affected by a nasty fire in our laundry room. The fire damage was confined to the laundry room, but the smoke and fire-extinguishing damage was far more extensive. We were unable to live at home for eight months, but we made the best of it. We are therefore very grateful to the fire brigade, the insurance company and our friends for their help. Now we are finally back home, but the next dark cloud is hanging over our heads: the debt collection agency. Part of the renovation costs will not be reimbursed, due to an excess and depreciation. I’m working and saving to keep a roof over our heads, but the latest bill is causing great uncertainty and sleepless nights. We’re really hoping for the support of our fellow human beings, so that we can get our lives back on track and continue to live in our beloved home. Our gratitude would be beyond words.
