🎨 My dream is to become a painter – please help me get started!

Hi! My name is Szilárd Pap, a young man who’s keen to embark on a new chapter in life: I want to become a painter.

I don’t have any formal qualifications in the profession yet, but from September I’ll be taking part in a painting course where I’ll finally be able to get my official certificate. Apart from that, I’ve already taken on loads of smaller jobs, which I’ve carried out with great dedication; unfortunately, though, I can’t share any photos of them – in many cases, none were taken, or I didn’t have the chance to keep them. Still, these have given me the confidence that I’m on the right track.

Now, however, I have reached a point where enthusiasm and hard work alone are no longer enough. In order to be able to take this profession seriously – to learn, develop and work – I need basic equipment: painting tools, rollers, brushes, protective clothing, a ladder and raw materials. Unfortunately, I am currently unable to afford these on my own.

That is why I am launching this fundraising campaign here on 4fund. Every forint, every bit of trust and support is a huge help to me. By doing this, you are not only supporting my work, but also helping me to build a life in a decent profession.

Hi! My name is Szilárd Pap, and I’m a young man about to start a new chapter in life: I want to become a professional painter.

At the moment, I don’t have any formal qualifications yet, but this September I’m starting a certified painting course that will give me the diploma I need to pursue this as a proper career. I’ve already done many small painting jobs on my own, always giving my best. Unfortunately, I can’t share photos of these jobs, either because none were taken or I wasn’t able to keep them – but every single job gave me experience and motivation to move forward.

I’ve reached a point where passion alone is no longer enough. To truly start working in this field and make a living, I need the right tools: paint rollers, brushes, safety gear, a ladder, and some basic materials. Right now, I can’t afford these on my own.
