“Everything you want is a dream away.” This lyric from one of my favorite Coldplay songs has always resonated with me but somehow growing up, I didn’t dare to dream too much because I knew I couldn’t afford it. I avoided finding a passion or pursuing a sport, knowing I’d eventually have to give it up.

That changed five years ago when I discovered hiking. The mountains became my refuge, helping me navigate through challenges and distance myself from toxic influences.

Two years ago, I worked hard, saved bit by bit, and even took out a small loan to achieve a major goal: climbing Mount Kazbek (5054m altitude), the third-highest peak in Georgia. Since then, I’ve summited most of Romania’s peaks and i'll even move to a city near the mountains to train more easily.

Now, my dream has grown. I want to stand at 6,165 meters on Imja Tse (Island Peak) in Nepal. It’s a challenging 18 days climb, requiring specialized high-altitude equipment and preparation, including physical therapy for my spine issues.

I’ve managed to save nearly half the money needed, but reaching the full amount by summer feels impossible on my own. I’m not a sponsored climber, nor do I have thousands of social media followers. I’m just someone who loves nature and finds peace in the mountains.
