100 cats: they are all strays found in terrible condition, and all were at risk of dying because they were ill or had been hit by cars. Or they were very young female cats about to give birth. Others were entrusted to me by a dear friend who died of cancer at the age of 46, to whom I promised I would look after them: I love them, they are my family and I am their mum! I’ve given up the luxuries that once seemed obvious and normal to me, like the telly or other things, to buy them beds and blankets… In my daily life, they come before me.
