I am asking for your help to protect my daughter: I need to cover the legal costs of appealing to the Constitutional Court and of commissioning an expert report.

I am a mother and I am fighting to protect my daughter in a situation which, to this day, has not been properly assessed by the courts, even after three years.

My daughter has spent almost three years in mental health hospitals as a result of the violence she suffered at the hands of her father and has mental health issues. As a result of these experiences, she has a 65% disability and is classified as having a level 3 dependency.

  At just 8 years old, she has only just been able to start school for the first time, in a very delicate and arduous process, with ups and downs and a lack of resources to support her.   

This leaves her in a vulnerable situation that I cannot accept. Now we have only one last option left: to appeal to the Constitutional Court. But in order to defend her, we need to carry out a crucial medical examination to objectively demonstrate her situation. Without this evidence, we have no real means of ensuring her case is heard and preventing her from having to see her father.

The problem is that this whole process involves costs (medical tests, reports, legal fees...) that I cannot bear alone. That is why I have decided to ask for help. 

It is not easy to share something so personal, but I am doing so because it is the only way to move forward and fight for what any mother wants: for her daughter to be protected and able to lead a normal life. 

Every contribution, however small, brings us one step closer to being able to carry out the test and continue with the legal proceedings.
