Help Iva Buy a Harp and Continue Her Musical Journey

Iva Dimitrijević is a talented Serbian harpist currently living in Italy. She is about to graduate with a Master of Music degree in Harp Performance this March, under the guidance of Professor Nicoletta Sanzin at the Conservatory Tartini in Trieste.

Nicoletta Sanzin writes: “Her work is consistently mature, musical, and technically strong. Iva also has a rare depth of interpretation and a keen ability to bring out all the details of the performed scores. Moreover, she is very expressive and has a pleasing stage presence.”

While studying, Iva is working to support herself. Unfortunately, she has missed many concert opportunities because she doesn’t own a harp. She has been playing the harp for 16 years, winning many international awards and recognitions without having her own instrument.

Iva completed her Bachelor’s degree at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and has won numerous first prizes in prestigious international competitions. Recently, she was awarded First Prize at the “Giovani Musicisti - Città di Treviso” International Competition in 2023, Second Prize at the “Glowing Harp” International Harp Competition in Ukraine in 2024, 2nd Prize at the String Premium Competition in Belarus, and the Special Award “Resonance Artist” in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Iva has performed as a soloist and in chamber ensembles at several festivals and concert seasons across Europe, including a solo performance at the Belgrade Harp Festival in 2022. She has also been chosen to have a solo recital at the Stellae Matutinae European Harp Symposium in Feldkirch, Austria, this April.

Iva’s artistic journey has also been shaped by her background in classical dance, which has enriched her connection to the Romantic repertoire and further deepened her interpretations.
