💗 Let’s help Ania in her fight against malignant breast cancer

My brother’s wife, Anna, recently received a diagnosis that has turned our whole world upside down – aggressive breast cancer.

Today (14 October) she had her first of a total of 16 chemotherapy sessions, which took a heavy toll on her both physically and emotionally.

She is battling pain, nausea, exhaustion and great fear – but she is not giving up.

However, the treatment brings with it not only physical but also emotional challenges.

The constant tension, worries about the future and moments of deep exhaustion make this time particularly difficult.

She will soon lose her hair, and because of the port implanted for the chemotherapy, she can barely move her arm at the moment – which makes everyday life even more difficult.

Ania and my brother have two young children, for whom she is staying strong.

Unfortunately, they live far away from their parents and me, so we try to support them as best we can from a distance.

It turns out that treating breast cancer involves far more than just hospital stays and chemotherapy.

There are many additional costs that we had no idea about before:

💉 treatments designed to minimise nerve damage caused by chemotherapy,

🏥 a planned breast operation, for which a co-payment may be required,

💇‍♀️ the purchase of a wig so that Ania can retain some dignity and comfort during this difficult time,

🧠 psychiatric and psychological support, which is necessary to cope with anxiety, depression and the effects of stress,

🌿 Nutritional supplements and restorative preparations to help strengthen the body after chemotherapy and support the immune system.

All these expenses exceed her financial means.

That is why I am asking from the bottom of my heart for support for Anna – every euro counts and brings her closer to her goal of getting through the treatment with peace of mind and regaining her health.
