Updates1

  • Update — 7 September 2026

The deadline has passed. The urgency, however, remains.

Since my last update, the situation has unfortunately not been resolved.

The reprieve we were granted allowed us to buy a little time. But a reprieve does not wipe out a debt, and it is not enough, on its own, to stabilise a situation that has become extremely precarious.

A few days ago, I received another letter informing me that the eviction proceedings are continuing and that the rent arrears now total €17,712.33.

I am not sharing this information to elicit pity. I am sharing it because it is important that those following this fundraising campaign know where we really stand.

From the very beginning, I have been taking every possible step, making appeals for help and searching for solutions. I am continuing to move forward despite the exhaustion, despite the uncertainty and despite the difficulty of having to bear all this for my two children and myself.

Today, €440 has been raised thanks to 8 donors.

To each and every one of you, thank you. These donations represent much more than a sum of money: they are proof that, even in a situation that sometimes seems hopeless, people choose to lend a helping hand.

But we are still a long way from being able to find a lasting way out of this situation.

This fundraising campaign therefore remains absolutely essential.

If you are unable to donate, simply sharing this post can make a difference. Someone in your network – a friend, a business, a charity, a professional, or simply someone who discovers our story through you – could be the person who takes this fundraising campaign to the next level.

I’m not asking anyone to turn a blind eye to reality.

I am simply asking for help to ensure that this reality does not alone determine the future of my children and my own.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us, to share, to spread the word about this fundraiser and to believe that a solution is still possible.

    We still need your help.

Description

Hello everyone,

My name is Yasmina and I am a mum of two children.

After losing the father of my children, I carried on fighting alone to provide them with a stable home, security and a future. Despite all my efforts, the hardships have piled up and today I am going through one of the most difficult periods of my life.

For months, I have been facing serious financial difficulties, health problems and mounting debts. Every day has become a struggle to preserve the essentials: keeping a roof over our heads, meeting daily expenses and carrying on despite physical and emotional exhaustion.

For a long time, I tried to find solutions on my own. I did everything I could to hold on, to protect my children and to never give up. But today, I need help.

This fundraising campaign is a call for solidarity. Every contribution will help us regain stability, dignity, security and the hope of keeping our home. The funds will be used to cover essential expenses such as housing, bills, food, transport and the urgent steps needed to rebuild our lives.

Every donation, however small, can really make a difference. And if you are unable to help us financially, simply sharing this post can already give us valuable visibility and help us reach the right people.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who takes the time to read our story, share this fundraiser or support us.

Your generosity, kindness and solidarity mean so much more than financial help: they give us the hope to believe in better days ahead.

Yasmina ❤️
