HELP ME START OVER ❤️‍🩹

A fire destroyed my kitchen, but it didn’t destroy my dream.

My name is Priscila. I’m Brazilian, an entrepreneur, and a few years ago I decided to take on one of the biggest challenges of my life: starting over in another country and building my own business in Italy.

About two years ago, I opened my little bar in Verona. I started practically from scratch, with no money and no working capital. Through hard work, courage and many difficulties along the way, I managed to keep the doors open and grow my business.

Just three months ago, the opportunity arose to move to a bigger and better premises. It was an opportunity that meant a great deal to me: at last I could turn that little bar into something bigger, with a proper kitchen, and fulfil my dream of running a Brazilian restaurant.

I invested everything I had and, with a great deal of effort, managed to get the new premises up and running.

But just when I thought I was finally embarking on a new chapter, something happened that I could never have imagined.

About 15 days ago, my kitchen caught fire.

The fire completely destroyed the kitchen. Equipment, fittings and the structure were all lost. The place I’d just built with so much effort now stood before me once again as a huge fresh start.

Now I need to rebuild practically everything.

I’ll need to reinstall the electrical and plumbing systems, renovate the kitchen, replace professional equipment and restore the entire infrastructure required for the restaurant to reopen.

The estimated cost of rebuilding and refitting the kitchen is approximately 70,000 euros.

For a small businesswoman who started out with practically no resources, this is an amount I cannot possibly manage on my own.

That is why I am asking for help today.

Any contribution, however small, will make a difference.

Every €5, €10, €20 or whatever amount you can donate will be a small part in rebuilding this dream.

I don’t want to give up.

It took more than two years of work, sleepless nights, hardships, fear, doors I had to open on my own, and a lot of struggle to build what I had.

The fire took my kitchen.

But it didn’t take away my determination to start over.

I want to open my doors again, get back to cooking, welcome my customers back and continue bringing a little piece of Brazil to those living here in Italy.

Today, more than ever, I need you.
