Dear friends, sports enthusiasts and supporters,

It is with a heavy heart that I write to you today. I recently had a serious crash on my road bike, and my trusty steed – which I so desperately need for my triathlon training – was completely destroyed in the process. This unfortunate incident has not only caused me physical pain, but has also put my long-cherished dream of taking part in a triathlon next year on hold for the time being.

As a passionate triathlete, I have put all my strength and passion into my training to achieve my goals. But without my road bike, I now face an almost insurmountable hurdle. Despite my determination, I feel vulnerable and lost without my equipment.

That is why, in my hour of greatest need, I am asking for your help today. I urgently need a new road bike so that I can continue my training and not have to give up on my dream. Every donation, no matter how small, would give me hope and courage.

To express my deep gratitude for your support, I plan to have a special jersey made, on which the names of all those who have supported me during this difficult time will be immortalised. Your names will not only be emblazoned on my jersey, but will also have a special place in my heart.
