Description
Together for Lacika’s greater mobility.
My little boy Lacika is 13 years old and has cerebral palsy.
He was born prematurely, as a very tiny baby, and ever since then I have been unwavering in my determination to ensure he has the best possible life and can develop and improve his mobility.
Lacika is a very sweet, pure-hearted, curious and sociable young lad.
He has had three operations and I was confident that no more would be needed, but that has now changed.
Unfortunately, as he grows, his muscles are tightening and shortening, affecting his knee joints and hindering his development.
We now have the option of one operation: minimally invasive myofasciotomy.
The aim is to restore muscle length whilst simultaneously reducing muscle tone, improve the joint’s range of motion, and facilitate mobility and care.
Lacus has moderate spasticity.
Diagnosis: Cerebral palsy, bilateral, GMFCS III.
The cost of the operation is 1,000,000 HUF, but even more important is the very intensive rehabilitation that follows, which is estimated to cost around 175,000 HUF per week.
Unfortunately, I cannot finance such a large sum on my own, so I would like to ask for your help.
Thank you in advance for reading this.
