Description
Help Samuel Rebuild His Life — From Orphan to Father of Four Without a Home.
Samuel Ncamihigo is a Rwandan , living in Rwanda country located in East Central Africa,He was just five years old when he lost both of his parents in 1994.
Alone and displaced, he spent years surviving as a refugee between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo—without family, without stability, and without access to basic needs or education.
With the support of humanitarian organisations, Samuel eventually returned to Rwanda. When he arrived, his home had been destroyed and no relatives remained. He relied on the kindness of neighbours to survive.
At 12 years old, he was given an opportunity through a World Vision program to attend school. Through determination and resilience, he completed both primary and secondary education.

## **The Things We Take for Granted**
Most of us grow up learning life without even realising it.
How to build a home.
How to earn a living.
How to cook, fix, plan, and provide.
How to be guided by family.
These are not just skills—they are passed down through parents, through everyday life.
Samuel never had that chance.
## **A Childhood Without Guidance**
Samuel Ncamihigo was five years old when he lost both of his parents during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda.
At the age when most children are learning from those around them, Samuel was left alone—without family, without stability, and without anyone to guide him.
He survived as a refugee between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, missing not only education, but the everyday knowledge that shapes a life.
He was not just without a home.
He was without the foundation most people never think about.
## **Finding His Way — Without a Map**
Through humanitarian support, Samuel eventually returned to Rwanda.
His home was gone.
No relatives remained.
He lived with neighbouring families who did what they could, but even then, he went years without education.
Everything he has achieved, he has had to teach him self.
## **Now a Father — Facing the Same Gap**
He is trying to give his children the very things he never had:
* Stability
* Education
* Guidance
* A safe place to grow
But right now:
* His family has no permanent home
* There is no stable income
* His children are unable to attend school
## **What This Support Really Means**
This is not just about building a house.
It is about:
* Replacing what was lost
* Creating a foundation where there was none
* Giving his children a starting point he never had
School access, supplies, and the opportunity for his children to learn and move forward.
## **Impact of Your Contribution**
## **A Chance to Build What Was Never Given**
The things most people inherit without thinking—
a home, guidance, basic life skills—Samuel had to grow up without.
This support is about giving his family the chance to build those foundations now.
