Hello, I’m back with an update on my mother’s health.
I would like to start with some good news: my mother had a mammogram on her left breast, and the results came back very good. Thank God, at least there are no issues. Also, the lung inflammation is almost gone, but unfortunately, the pain in her right lung area has become more intense, and she has a persistent cough. In addition, she has started experiencing very strong back pain, and we have no idea where it’s coming from.
For now, she continues to take codeine, even though we know it’s not a long-term solution because it can cause dependency. But at this point, we have no other option, she can no longer tolerate constant ketonal due to its side effects.
Unfortunately, her next CT scan appointment is only at the end of May. That’s far away, and it’s causing us a lot of stress, but there’s nothing we can do. A private CT scan would cost around 400 euros, an amount I don’t think we’ll be able to raise in time, though we still hope.
For the peripheral neuropathy, my mother has started treatment with Urimil maximum dose, collagen, and other supplements, but we know that any real effects might only be seen after 3 - 4 months.
We are deeply grateful for every donation, no matter how small. You are helping us continue her treatments and not lose hope. Without your support, we wouldn’t have made it this far.

Hello, I'm seeking help on behalf of my mother who is currently fighting stage 3 breast cancer. She has recently completed a round of chemotherapy and underwent a mastectomy, which involved the complete removal of her breast and affected lymph nodes from her arm and neck (22 lymph nodes), and finished radiation therapy. These treatments have taken a tremendous toll on her both physically and emotionally, but she continues to stand strong.
Previously, I used GoGetFunding to raise support for her treatment. However, the platform is taking high fees on donations (+bank), up to 9%, which has significantly affected the funds we receive.
These days I am also trying to recover all the updates I wrote on that platform about my mother's journey since December 2023 and to post them here. It would be a shame to lose them, as they might help others in the future or provide a complete story for those who want to follow my mother's treatment from the beginning.
Currently, our biggest concern is her lungs, which urgently need to be healed. If her lung condition doesn’t improve, I don't know if she will be able to resume her cancer treatment. We also believe that her treatment plan will need to be adjusted since she can no longer take Verzenio, but I will update you in September.
