IN A MATTER OF MINUTES, THEIR HOME WAS GONE – Bori and András’s house went up in flames in the blink of an eye, presumably due to a fault in an electrical appliance. Whatever the fire didn’t consume, the smoke and soot rendered it unusable. Damage assessment is underway, but what’s uninhabitable is uninhabitable... Bori and her family had only recently moved into this house; they’d taken out a mortgage to buy it and had just started settling in with their two-year-old daughter, Liliána, when the disaster struck.
Many people are already helping out with small but very useful things. However, the real help is renovating the burnt-out house. This will cost millions, which they cannot raise on their own. And we believe that with help, they can do it! We need your donation for this too! The aim is to get the most essential work started as soon as possible, so that if Easter is so sad, at least Christmas can be cosy for the Boris.
