John is my 3rd adopted son out of the 6 I have in Kenya. I have already changed the lives of 4 of them (2+2 siblings) and moved them from a slum in Nairobi to a new house in the countryside. Now I want to do it for John too by buying a plot of land (approx 550,000 kes - approx 4000 euros). Then later build him a house. A week ago he wrote to me that he came back from school for holidays and couldn't write to me because he had no money for dates and hadn't eaten for 2 days, only drank tea. He is studying at St Philip's school in Jos in his last year at primary school. It is impossible for him to get himself out of the slum to a better place to live, except with our help.
