The CAMPOWISKO Festival of Travel is the first such event in the central part of the Lubuskie Voivodeship. This year will already see its second edition. It is one of the few completely FREE travel festivals in Poland.

We create it out of passion, because we want a wider audience to get to know and be inspired by the stories of people we have admired for years. To explore, besides travel, various other aspects that affect the quality of our lives (e.g. talks on freeganism, alternative forms of education, etc.), as well as different options for travelling and discovering the world.

The special patron of this year's edition will be Tomek "Czapkins" Mackiewicz, to whom we will dedicate an exhibition in the Regional Museum in Świebodzin, which will be available throughout the summer holidays. In addition, we will host Tomek's family and friends who will introduce us to the figure of this indomitable climber.

During the three days of the festival, in addition to the exhibition, there will also be unique lectures, workshops, discussion panels, concerts and an open-air cinema in several locations.

Despite the support of the local government, cultural institutions and companies, organising a three-day festival with such a rich programme, and at the same time completely free of charge, requires financial outlays that are beyond our means at the moment.

This is why we are looking for various ways of funding the festival, knowing the energy it conveys and the inspiration it inspires.

We have dreamt of a festival...

Not another event that reproduces templates and ready-made schemes of action.

We dreamt up a space to seek inspiration, to inspire, to share experiences and to discover new horizons.

At the beginning, we had no specific plan, no cost estimate, not even an idea of how much work and commitment it would take. All we had at the beginning was passion, a huge desire to do something, our personal experiences and memories, and a feeling of excitement.

This was enough to bring together, within three months, almost a hundred co-founders around the idea. several local government institutions and cultural institutions, a dozen or so employees of these institutions, sponsors, partners, media representatives and, finally, speakers or musicians.
