Good evening everyone. My name is Francesca, I am a 42-year-old mother of a beautiful 3-year-old girl. I've been in great financial difficulty for a long time but in one way or another I've always managed to manage on my own. Unfortunately, I don't have a family that can help me and I'm separated from my daughter's father, who isn't very present either economically or affectively. In short, I am completely alone. I've never been able to afford a baby-sitter and since I became a mother I've changed jobs and had to manage her illnesses and two hospital admissions on my own. 3 months ago I unfortunately lost my job and my world fell apart but thank God I managed to find another one just last week. Unfortunately I have accumulated several debts, including bills and the last two rents. I don't know who to ask for help. I know that the chances of receiving help are remote, I have read about fundraisers perhaps more important than mine, many have really moved me but I have decided to try anyway, I am really desperate and I don't know how to do it. I feel so much guilt towards my daughter, I always try not to let her lack anything and my priority in life is to guarantee her a dignified life. I hope someone can help me in this difficult time.
