Description
When setting up a business, I found myself caught up in a whirlwind of debt because there is far too long a delay between applying for and receiving the money. I mean, when you apply for any official document, it takes an age for the application to be approved – months – yet payment for that application has to be made immediately, so that’s an expense. Secondly, if a setback arises – such as a traffic fine – even though I wasn’t at fault and wasn’t even driving that car, which was allegedly caught on camera without clear verification, I’m left to fend for myself the fine, based solely on the alleged police discretion, I have to appeal and pay double
Because of the excessive delay, food and other expenses pile up
The result is having no money to pay the bills, and every day more appear, leading to a distressing and stressful state, bringing me to the brink of illness, with no strength for anything. Thus, fundraising is my last hope of getting back on my feet
