Help me repair my motorbike – a dream on the brink of being shattered!

Hi! My name is Dragoș and I’d like to share my story with you and ask for your help, because I’m in a difficult situation.

Over several years, I’ve worked hard to save up 7,000 lei, which would allow me to buy a motorbike – a dream I’ve had for a long time. After a lot of effort, I managed to pay 4,500 lei for the motorbike I wanted, and I used the rest of the money for repairs, as it was already faulty: the cylinder head was damaged, the piston was broken and the connecting rod was bent.

I managed to buy a second-hand cylinder head, with the promise that it was in good condition, but, unfortunately, it only lasted four hours of running. A valve broke and now the engine is ruined again.

To be able to repair it and bring it back to life, I need the following parts:

• Engine: 2,500 lei

• Cylinder: 1,250 lei

• Piston + rings: 1,000 lei

• Connecting rod: 1000 lei

• Gaskets: 500 lei

The total cost of the parts needed for the repair is5,250 lei. All the parts are second-hand, as I cannot afford to buy new ones.

Given that I am the breadwinner of the family and work in Romania, where incomes are limited and I have to pay rent and bills, it is impossible for me to set this amount aside over the next few years. Unfortunately, if I didn’t ask for help, it would take me between 4 and 5 years to save this amount.

Now I need your help! Any amount, no matter how small, would help me repair my motorbike and continue to pursue my passion.

The money I raise will be used exclusively to purchase the necessary parts: cylinder head, cylinder, piston, connecting rod and gaskets. For me, the motorbike is much more than just a means of transport – it is a passion that brings me happiness, helps me relax and escape from the daily stress.
