I’m raising money for my cat Molly’s hospital treatment.

I had to take her to the veterinary hospital on Thursday because she couldn’t wee at home. Her sister had to have an operation last year for a similar problem, so I took Molly to the vet straight away and hoped it wasn’t too serious.

Unfortunately, she was kept in for days because the X-ray showed that her bladder was full of waste products. She had to be catheterised, her bladder flushed several times, and she was given IV fluids for days on end.

Fortunately, she is doing better now and, thanks to the treatment, it looks like surgery can be avoided, but unfortunately the vet bills have skyrocketed. At the moment, the bill stands at around 150,000 HUF, but this does not yet include her treatments for tomorrow.

I can cover part of it (100,000 HUF) myself, but I’m afraid I can’t raise the remaining amount any other way than with help. Last year, I had to resort to this method to raise the funds needed for Molly’s brother’s life-saving operations, and miraculously, I managed to raise the money, for which we remain grateful to this day. I can only hope that the fundraising for Molly’s treatment will be successful too.

I could bring her home from hospital tomorrow, but for the time being I cannot afford to pay for her full treatment.
