I am collecting for the hospital treatment of my Molly cat.

I had to take her to the pet hospital on Thursday because she couldn't pee at home. Her brother had to have an operation for the same problem last year, so I took Molly to the doctor straight away and hoped it wasn't too bad.

Unfortunately, they kept him in for days because the X-ray showed that his bladder was full of waste material. She had to be catheterised, her bladder flushed several times and she was given IV fluids for days.

Thankfully he is now doing better and thanks to the treatment surgery seems to be avoidable, but unfortunately the veterinary costs have skyrocketed. At the moment the bill is around £150,000, but that doesn't include her treatment tomorrow.

I can fund part of it (100.000 Ft) from my own resources, but unfortunately I can't raise the rest of the money any other way, only with help. Last year, I had to resort to this method for Molly's brother's life-saving operations, and miraculously I managed to raise the amount, for which we have been grateful ever since. I can only hope that Molly's treatment will be another success.

I could bring her home from the hospital tomorrow, but I can't afford to pay for her full treatment just yet.
