Victims of the Storms in Portugal – National Emergency Fund
Although the worst of the storms has now passed, thousands of families in Portugal are still dealing with the aftermath of the bad weather, facing difficulties in restoring basic services and rebuilding their lives.
Caritas Portugal has been on the ground, supporting the most affected communities and coordinating responses in the districts of Leiria, Santarém, Coimbra and Lisbon.
Immediate support and needs assessments have already been carried out, but it is essential to strengthen our response capacity for the present and the future.
