Let’s help Hanga keep fighting

My niece, Hanga, is 23 years old. In February, it was discovered that she has a rare and aggressive malignant tumour of the adrenal cortex. Since then, she has had to face challenges that no one should have to face at such a young age.

Following her diagnosis, she underwent major surgery, after which her chemotherapy treatments began. After the sixth session, we were very hopeful that we would finally receive some good news, but unfortunately this was not the case. Tests showed that the disease had spread further, and in addition to the lung metastases, new lesions had appeared in her liver.

He is one of the strongest people I know. Despite his illness, he has not lost his positivity or his will to fight.

We now want to seize every opportunity that might help him. We have contacted a clinic in Frankfurt, where, based on his test results, they have recommended TACE treatment for him. This is a specialised, targeted anti-cancer treatment that could offer him a new lease of life. Unfortunately, however, the costs of treatment abroad and the travel involved are beyond the family’s means.

After her diagnosis, she underwent major surgery and then began chemotherapy. Following her sixth chemotherapy session, we were hopeful that we would finally receive some positive news, but unfortunately that was not the case. The follow-up examinations showed that the disease had continued to progress, and in addition to the metastases in her lungs, new lesions have also appeared in her liver.

She is one of the strongest people I know. Despite her illness, she has never lost her positivity or her determination to keep fighting.

We are now trying to explore every possible treatment option that might help her. We have been in contact with a clinic in Frankfurt, where, based on her medical records, TACE treatment has been recommended. This is a specialised, targeted cancer treatment that may offer her a new chance. However, the cost of treatment abroad and the associated travel expenses are beyond what our family can afford.
