We are asking all kind-hearted people—whom we believe still exist—to make a donation towards the rehabilitation of the lovely Susana (54), a mother of two young children (aged 9 and 15). She suffered complications from a middle ear infection in July 2025, which resulted in meningoencephalitis, an emergency craniectomy of the right parietal bone due to cerebral oedema, and severe lesions in three cerebral lobes. She is currently undergoing rehabilitation in Portugal (Algarve, Portimão), fighting to regain her health. She requires continuous intensive care, which involves: a speech therapist, registered nurses qualified to manage tracheostomies and PEG tubes, and robotic neurorehabilitation to enable a faster and more efficient recovery of her currently disabled upper and lower limbs. We believe that the passage of time and the lack of financial support are the only obstacles standing in the way of her recovery.
