Help Me Avoid Prison – A Last Chance to Set Things Right

Dear friends,

My name is Yannis and i' m from Greece, and this is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write. I am reaching out to ask for help—something I never imagined I would need to do publicly.

Due to a series of financial mistakes—many of which were the result of bank mismanagement and decisions beyond my control—I now face a crushing debt burden of over €100,000. Despite initiating legal actions in the hope of fairer terms or some form of relief, the banks have not accepted any restructuring proposals or offered any viable solutions.

Out of this total, €30,000 is urgently needed to prevent legal actions that could lead to imprisonment. These debts are shown in the photo I’ve included, but they do not reflect my full situation. In addition to these, I also have a mortgage and another loan that are not shown—bringing the total well beyond €100,000.

What I am asking for is help with this €30,000. If I can raise this amount, I am committed to repaying the remaining €70,000 on my own, as honestly and responsibly as I possibly can.

I am a hardworking and honest person. I have a steady job, a family to support, and a strong will to overcome this situation with dignity. I’m not looking for a way out—I’m just looking for a chance to make things right and avoid prison for debts I am already doing everything I can to settle.
