Our aim: To breathe new life into the ruins

A warm welcome to the Kopasz Tanya project website! I have embarked on the realisation of a dream that for many is perhaps nothing more than a pipe dream: creating a completely self-sufficient, sustainable farm from scratch. Unfortunately, the farmstead in Ráckeve is currently in a very dilapidated state, but where others see only crumbling walls, I see a flourishing garden, healthy livestock and the possibility of a clean, independent life.

Why self-sufficiency?

My aim is not merely survival, but to set an example. I want to prove that, through hard work and respect for nature, independence from modern systems can be achieved. In the future, Kopasz Farm will be a place where nature and humanity live in harmony.

The pillars of the farm:

I will use your support to develop the following four key areas:

1. Crop production: Establishing chemical-free, regenerative agriculture that provides fresh food throughout the year.
2. Rabbit farming: The farm’s main focus will be professional and humane rabbit farming, providing a sustainable source of protein and valuable organic manure for the garden.
3. Energy independence: Installation of a solar panel system to ensure the farm’s electricity supply is entirely clean and free from external sources.
4. Water management: Drilling our own water source (well) and installing a modern irrigation system to ensure the farm can survive even during the worst droughts.

How will we use the donations?

Given the farm’s current condition, the first steps are the hardest. I will use the funds raised for the following:

• Structural reinforcement of the residential building and the barns required for livestock farming.
• Drilling a well and installing water purification equipment.
• Purchase of solar panels, inverters and batteries.
• Purchase of basic agricultural tools and the initial stock of rabbits.
