Dear neighbours,

this crowdfunding campaign is dedicated to a vital resource for many local families: Casa Atelier, the nursery on Viale Monza which has been welcoming children for nine years and which, thanks to its skilled and passionate staff, provides a caring, loving environment with stimulating educational activities. Casa Atelier is, in fact, one of the few nurseries in the area to guarantee an optimal teacher-to-child ratio, offering a safe and stimulating environment that provides specific, tailor-made care for every little boy and girl. It is a place that has uniquely met the needs of our neighbourhood, where demand for nurseries (both public and private) far outstrips supply, particularly for children under one year of age.

Unfortunately, due to a difficult situation that began with Covid and has worsened because of ever-increasing costs and parents withdrawing their children without adequate notice, Casa Atelier is now at risk of closing. It would be a huge loss for the community: it is no coincidence that the families who have had the chance to use it speak of it with affection and gratitude, even years later. The educational and emotional quality of the service offered is beyond question, and we cannot afford to lose such an important part of our community. I have only known Silvia, the nursery staff and the nursery itself for a few months, but in this short time a relationship of complete trust has been built, because I have seen the care and attention they put into looking after the children who attend Casa Atelier with kindness, affection and thoughtfulness.

For all these reasons, I would like to ask for your help: we cannot be certain that a fundraising campaign will enable the nursery to continue its work, but every contribution, large or small, can make a difference, even if only to allow Silvia, the owner, to reopen in the future.
