My name is Petra and I am in a time that should be full of joy and anticipation - I am expecting a baby. I am currently in my 4th month of pregnancy, but instead of peace I am facing a lot of stress and fear because I have accumulated debts that I can no longer manage on my own.

Life has brought me more trials in the last few months than I could have imagined. Debts to Telekom and other creditors have exceeded €870, and I have to pay some of them in the next few days. I'm trying my best, but I can't do it without help.

We live in our house, so we don't pay rent, but it is still a struggle every month to cover all the expenses. At the moment, I'm living on my husband's salary, which is just enough for basic needs - food, utilities, health care. There is almost nothing left to pay off old debts.

My mother is no longer alive, and unfortunately, neither my godmother nor my sister gave me a helping hand when I needed it the most. I was left on my own, and that is why I turn to good people who have a heart and understanding.

I am very anxious to get through this pregnancy peacefully, without fear of foreclosure or losing the roof over my head. I am not asking for luxury, I am asking for a chance. For the chance to bring my child into the world in safety and dignity.
