I arrived in Budapest in 2020 with high hopes, but since 2022, when organized educational research ceased in Hungary, my income opportunities have significantly decreased, and I was forced to take out a personal loan, the arrears of which I settled with "enforcement assistance = debt collection." Currently, no matter what I do, I can earn a maximum of 300,000 forints (740 euros, 832 dollars) per month, which is a problem because all my savings and even more were seized during the enforcement proceedings. I am looking for a full-time job in statistics, data collection, and analysis, but so far to no avail, Since I have a degree in education, I am overqualified or underqualified for most jobs, even though the amount I would need if I found a normal job could be paid in two months or even less. In fact, if I hadn't been looking for a job for a year, I wouldn't have fallen behind. Of course, one day I will succeed, but unfortunately I urgently need 800,000 forints (2,000 euros) so that my daughter can finish the school year, because food and rent have always been the priority, as we have to eat and don't want to become homeless. I'll get back on my feet financially in the summer, I'll save money, and maybe I'll have a chance to start saving, as most of my brutal debt has already been settled, but I need this money so that my daughter can finish the school year... Wherever I go, I am considered "overqualified" and unsuitable because I worked in educational research (which is a barrier even in sociological research institutes), and higher education generally needs existing staff, not new ones. Therefore, if I don't find a job paying at least 400,000 HUF per month by September, I plan to start my own business providing the following services in any field of social sciences:

- Development of research plans

- Proofreading of articles, studies, and dissertations prior to publication

- Scientific consulting

- Statistical analysis

- Evaluation of existing research results (SPSS, Excel), creation of graphs, text analysis.

As my savings are exhausted and job opportunities are increasingly pointing towards starting my own business, I am forced to ask for help so that I can get back on my feet and later consider and take steps towards a better life and a better future for my daughter (perhaps a better apartment and eventually a home of our own)... :)
