Description
Hello, we are the Community of the Elementary School no. 1 in Nysa, Poland.
We've always tried to supply the best possible learning environment to our little students, for the school to become their second, comfortable home! Last weekend we were severely affected by flooding that has ravaged the south of Poland, killing many people, and destroying endless lives. Water, carrying all sorts of dangers: epidemic, structural, psychological, has left a horrible mark on our school - we lost the student canteen, newly renovated kitchen feeding our pupils, lockers with new books (we just started a new school year), sports equipment, maintenance tools...
The needs are huge! We need to clean, replace, disinfect, make sure that our little pupils are fine physically and mentally, buy new books so that they can continue the school year, restore warm meals..
We have always been the helping hand, working closely with local and national institutions, hospices, in the spirit of the Order of the Smile, our patron.
Now, we are in need, and we ask for your support to ensure our little students come back to their beloved place of fun, learning, friendship, and support as soon as possible.
We will clean it, restore it, and make it even better, despite all odds!

Jesteśmy Społecznością Szkoły Podstawowej nr 1 w Nysie.im.Kawalerów Orderu Uśmiechu.
Zawsze staraliśmy się zapewnić naszym Uczniom dobre warunki pobytu w szkole, bo to przecież ich drugi dom!
Tymczasem powódź, która boleśnie dotknęła nasze miasto, zostawiła w naszej placówce ogrom zniszczeń; zalana stołówka, niedawno wyremontowana kuchnia, szafki uczniowskie z nowiutkimi podręcznikami, sprzęt sportowy, elektronarzędzia panów konserwatorów....
Zatem potrzeby są ogromne.
Prosimy wszystkich Życzliwych nam Ludzi o wsparcie ,by nasi Uczniowie mogli wrócić do dawnych warunków nauki i wielogodzinnego pobytu w szkole!
