🇭🇺

Ella is a one and a half year old Rottweiler girl. She is my companion, my best friend, part of our family.

And now her life is at stake.

She'sbeen sick for over three weeks and every day since then has been a struggle for survival.

At first we thought it was just indigestion - but it quickly became clear that it was much more serious.

After blood tests, she was treated for pancreatitis, but her symptoms suggested lymphoma or autoimmune disease.

A 4DX test came back positive for Anaplasma (a tick-borne infection), but despite treatment with antibiotics, Ella's condition did not improve and in fact continued to deteriorate.

The ultrasound showed no clear lesions. The contrast X-ray only showed that the material was passing through her intestines more slowly than it should.

He was in hospital for three days, where he was given an infusion and medication. Then he got a little better, but only temporarily.

He has been on over 10 different medications in the last 3 weeks. Her fever has stubbornly returned, and she has already gone from 45 kilos to 35 kilos.

I'm currently caring for her as a veterinary assistant at home, with constant vet consultation: she gets her IVs, medications, I take care of her, but it's only a temporary solution.

Sheneeds hospital treatment, but I have reached my limit.

In the last three weeks we have spent nearly 1 million forints on his treatment.

Now the most likely diagnosis is pancreatic abscess or partial intestinal obstruction.

He would need another abdominal ultrasound, lab tests and unfortunately, exploratory surgery may be the only way to find out what is happening to him.

The exploratory surgery alone costs between 200-300,000 forints, and the aftercare and medication is even more.

Ella hasn't given up yet. She's wagging her tail, watching, trying to eat.

You can tell she wants to live, that there is hope.

If Ella's story touched you, please give her a chance.

Every bit of help counts.

Your support could really save a life right now.

Thank you for reading.

Ella is a 1.5-year-old Rottweiler girl.

She's my companion, my best friend, and a cherished member of our family.

And now, her life is hanging by a thread.

She has been sick for over three weeks, and every day since has been a fight for survival.

At first, we thought it was just a simple stomach issue - but it quickly became clear that the problem was much more serious.

After her blood tests, she was diagnosed with pancreatitis and started treatment, but her symptoms suggested more serious possibilities, including lymphoma or an autoimmune disease.

Her 4DX test came back positive for Anaplasma (a tick-borne infection), but despite antibiotics and multiple treatments, her condition continued to deteriorate.

The abdominal ultrasound didn't show clear results.

A contrast X-ray revealed that the material moved slower than normal through her intestines - but no specific blockage was visible.

She spent three days hospitalised, receiving infusions and medication. She seemed slightly better - but only temporarily.

In the past 3 weeks, Ella has been given more than 10 different medications.

Her fever keeps returning, and she has lost over 10 kilograms, dropping from 45 to 35 kg.

As a veterinary assistant, I'm currently caring for her at home under continuous veterinary supervision - administering her IV fluids, medications, and monitoring her condition.

But this is only a temporary solution.

She needs proper hospitalization.

And I've reached my financial limit.

We have already spent close to 1 million forints (approx. €2,500) on her care.

The current most likely diagnoses are a pancreatic abscess or partial intestinal obstruction.

She now urgently needs another abdominal ultrasound, lab tests, and possibly an exploratory abdominal surgery - which might be the only way to find out what's truly going on.

The surgery alone costs 200,000-300,000 forints (€500-€750), and with post-op care and medication, the total will be even higher.

But Ella hasn't given up.

She still wags her tail, looks at me with hope, and tries to eat.

You can see it in her eyes - she still wants to live.

If Ella's story has touched your heart, please give her one more chance.

Every bit of help matters.

Your support could truly save her life.
