Yesterday, 31 July 2026, in the early hours of the morning, a severe fire broke out on our farm in Zagorje ob Savi; within an hour, everything had been burnt to the ground. Tractors, agricultural machinery, a new baler, fuel and a wealth of tools. This has completely prevented us from carrying out our farming activities, which are our sole source of income and livelihood. Due to the loss of all our machinery, we are unable to prepare feed for our livestock, and we do not know how we will provide for our own survival either. On the farm, there is my mother, who has been left disabled due to injuries sustained whilst carrying out heavy farm work, and my son with his young family. We are in dire straits and are asking for any kind of help, including donations of agricultural equipment.
