As a child, I used to cheat when brushing my teeth – I would wet the toothbrush, put toothpaste in my mouth for the smell, and pretend I had brushed my teeth. When my teeth started to hurt, I would pinch my leg to distract myself from the pain. No one checked on me. I grew up with my grandparents, but when I was 15, my grandmother died of lung cancer. After that, I moved in with my mother, with whom I never had a good relationship.

At that time, my dentist was retiring, and his patients were reassigned to other clinics around the city. My mother decided that I would go to her dentist. When I needed a front tooth repaired, the dentist gave me a temporary filling and said I had to bring 90 € (2,200 CZK) for the next appointment. We didn’t have the money, so the visit was postponed… indefinitely. I never went back to the dentist.

In 2017, I ended up in the hospital with a jaw infection (osteomyelitis). I had to undergo surgery under general anesthesia, during which three damaged teeth were removed, and for safety, all wisdom teeth were taken out. Since then, everything started to deteriorate.

Then came my first pregnancy, which was disastrous for my teeth.

Now I have reached a point where regular dental care is no longer enough. I need full mouth reconstruction with dental implants and a removable denture, which will provide me with functional and stable teeth.

Where will the funds be used?

1. Initial Consultation and Diagnosis. The goal is to determine the exact condition of my teeth and suggest the necessary steps for reconstruction. Price: 500–1,500 CZK (20–60 €)
2. Extraction of Teeth and Roots. Some teeth and roots need to be removed in order to begin reconstruction.
3. Price per extraction: 500–2,500 CZK per tooth (20–100 €) Estimated cost for 3–5 teeth: 1,500–12,500 CZK (60–500 €)
4. Endodontic Treatment (Root Canal Cleaning) To ensure the stability of the implants, some roots need to be treated. Price per root: 1,000–1,800 CZK (40–70 €) Estimated cost for 4 roots: 4,000–7,000 CZK (160–280 €)
5. Placement of Dental Implants. Price per implant: 2,000–5,000 CZK (80–200 €) Estimated cost for 4 implants: 8,000–20,000 CZK (320–800 €)
6. Creation of Removable Denture. Price: 10,000–20,000 CZK (400–800 €)

The total cost for full mouth reconstruction with implants and a removable denture is estimated to range from 23,500–60,500 CZK per jaw (940–2,400 €).
